During my internship at The Mint Museum I learned how to work consistently with a brand identity and brand guidelines to create advertising collateral for the museum. I gained valuable experience and knowledge through my employer and mentor that I will be able to use to further my career in the design world. Please scroll down to view a small preview of the work that I completed during my internship, such as animated GIF's, Email Blasts, Flyers and Ads for the museum.
The GIF's below were used in email blast's that were sent out to The Mint Museum's 23,000 email subscribers. I used Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create both of these.
Considered to be one of the museum's most popular exhibits to date, Michael Sherrill Retrospective was on display for a few months at Mint Museum Uptown. I was asked to create a video picture animation highlighting Michael Sherrill and some of his famous work to be used in the "Last Look" email that was sent out to email subscribers a few weeks before the exhibit closed.
Internship Flyer
This flyer was created for college day at The Mint Museum. Flyer was handed out to college students to encourage them to apply for an internship at the museum.
Skylights Ad
This is an ad that I created that was sent out in the Southpark Skylights magazine.
Email Blasts
Email blast that I created in Illustrator and Constant Contact. The email blast highlighted Sunday Funday, a family friendly event held at Mint Museum Uptown. The bottom half of the email blast contains "featured events" and a "week in a glance" events for the week of Sunday Funday.
